Aerial Cinematographer

As a drone operator based in Edinburgh I am available for aerial cinematography in add to filming for broadcast. I hold an A2 certificate of competency which allows me to fly my drones commercially.

As an aerial DoP I am primarily concerned with finding myself in the right place at the right time. It takes a lot of work and planning, as well as luck and patience. I can help with various permissions and considerations for unmanned aerial filming.

Traditional camera operator

Often we find production companies are looking for a one stop-shop of camera operator / drone pilot. I can also travel with a Sony FS7 kit / Sony FX3 kit too.

Drone Filming kit – DJI Mavic 3 Cine

My main videography drone is the Mavic 3 Cine which features a 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad camera and shooting up to 5.1K in Apple Pro-Res and 4K to 120fps. It also has a zoom lens up to 14x optical zoom. The Mavic 3 Cine drone records aerial videos at high resolutions and frame rates, it also captures up to 1 billion colours with a 10-bit D-Log colour profile.
