Testimonials

Michael Fritz

Producer - PBS Newshour / PBS

Ryan is an incredibly talented videographer and a delight to work with. PBS used him while filming a poetry segment in Stirling, Scotland and we couldn't have been happier with the end product. If you're in search of camerawork and video production in the UK, you'd be in great hands with Ryan.

Lewis Gourlay

Director - commercials / Cagoule Productions

Ryan is a star. We've worked with him on many films over the years. He is always consistent and reliable. He has great amount of energy and enthusiasm for any project he works on. He always offers up creative and intuitive solutions and is a wonderful team player. I highly recommend him

BBC Producer

BBC Witness / BBC

Ryan was a pleasure to work with – creative, energetic and professional – he really helped us get the most out of our shoot.

Cassie Burkinshaw

Ryan filmed us a great interview and made our contributors feel at ease. Will definitely look him up again!

Jessica Hong

Producer / stink studios

I worked with Ryan on a project for Toyota that we shot in Edinburgh. Ryan was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had hired him as a gaffer but he ended up being so much more than that. He helped us come up with creative solutions for our very complicated stop motion project and helped us create a beautiful end result. He is one of the hardest working people I've worked with and I would jump at the chance to work with him again.

John I Brown

Director of Photography

Ryan is very personable, he puts people at ease and is a good communicator. When Ryan is put in to a difficult situation he deals with it professionally and calmly and with a good sense of humour. As an experienced director of photography who has worked with lots of top technicians, I can comfortably recommend Ryan.

Ross Perth

Head of Marketing / Edinburgh International Film Festival

It was a pleasure to work with Ryan in creating the EIFF Preview Reel. He was very professional and ensured deadlines were met. I would recommend Ryan as a creative, diligent, trustworthy and skilled editor.

Marii Stoltsen

Producer / 20/20 Productions

Ryan is a great one-man-band for any shoot; a no fuss cameraman with his own equipment, he can adapt to any environment. From scaling solar panel covered rooftops to squeezing between giant brewing coppers, he delivers beautiful shots for our films on time and on budget.

Jane Alcock

Associate director / Smoking Gun PR

Ryan has produced a couple of short films for our clients, great results both times, I'd highly recommend him.

Erin Hickey

Jon Short

It was great to work with Ryan during our coverage of the Scottish Referendum. Working with multiple live hits, clients and languages presented no problem for him. For us it was a pleasure to have him on our team
